North Quay Systems was founded in 2014 by two engineers who had spent a decade instrumenting pumping stations and small hydro plants and were tired of adapting general-purpose PLCs to a job that needed a logger first and a controller second.

We design the hardware and write the firmware ourselves; boards are assembled by a contract manufacturer nearby and every unit is tested here before it ships. Most customers are utilities, marine operators and engineering consultancies; a few are universities running long-term field experiments.

We are a small company and prefer to stay one. Support is answered by the people who wrote the firmware.
